It sure looks like a chevy wheel to me also, but it came off a Canadian GMC 63 fleetside. Someone may have got it off a chevy or they didn't care what parts bin they robbed when it was built, just guessing lots of parts were inter-changed over the years maybe...Vernski

How did you deal with the lettering and amber lenses on the idiot lights?

Here's mine, along with the "aux. cluster" I fabbed...

I was working on the column....still needed to be "clocked" when I took the pic.

I'll take a current photo sometime soon and post it. This one's kinda crappy lookin.

Donnoman I think I got the decals from Brothers Trucks but I've seen them at other vendors..Vernski

Thanks Texas63 & Vernski..

I took a piece of 3" aluminum channel, cut the flange on one side down to about 1/8" high...(what is now the trim line below the gauges), leaving the other flange alone...so I could drill and mount it to the bottom of the dash.
Then I cut the holes for the gauges and toggle switches. I also had to make a radius...1/2 moon....cut on the top ctr. for the column...
I'll take a close up.
It was actually fairly easy and looks pretty good for a midnight fab-job.
