Default '62 Rear Bearings & Seals

I have a 1962 K1001 Panel Truck. I lost a rear bearing last week. I'm searching for replacements parts. I believe I have found the correct inner seal and bearing but I'm coming up empty trying to locate that outer seal. Anybody have any luck locating it. I am able to get this info off it "New Departure ?8128". The first digit in not readable.

I googled and started with 18128....when I got to 38128...... Spicer seal for Dana 44. Took me 30 seconds.

I had investigated that seal before. I don't think it is the correct one. It is designed for a 2.5" shaft diameter. My rear axle location has the seal riding on a 1.5" shaft. Thanks for looking into this.

Trailer axles are often 1.5". Could a trailer axle seal work?

Some people are like slinkys. Not worth much but funny as heck when pushed down stairs.

The splined axle shaft is 1.5 OD. The outer seal diameter and the bearing diameter are larger out at the hub end.
Sure seems like if the number you gave comes back as 38128 seal, that would be it.
The outer is bigger. Measure the seal you need for ID and OD and width and let us know. I hope you are measuring the seal and not the shaft at the wrong place

Anyway here is a possibility.

My 1960 K1001 had an original dana 44.

I guess you could have a Eaton HO. Doubt it unless someone swapped.
