Default What to put behind a 401?

I have a 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup that doubles as a daily driver and a tow vehicle for a 2-car trailer. I'm getting rid of the manual trans and am looking for suggestions for an automatic trans that can handle both cruising and work... Any recommendations?
