Default 64 wiper switch

im trying to trouble shoot why my wipers don't work on a new to me truck...the wiper switch seems to be GMC only and only has one wire connector on the back unlike the chevy ones...upon taking it out, the back portion of the switch broke off, so now im looking to replace the switch and possibly find a good known working wiper motor as I suspect the one in my truck is seized up

Are you asking how to trouble shoot or are you placing a wanted ad here? I don't see a question to answer. Ask us something and we will answer.

Proper testing/troubleshooting is better than "suspecting".

well I was able to troubleshoot the wiper motor as being bad, but ended up breaking the wiper switch, im trying to find a replacement but having a hard time finding one with only one wire connector on the back

maybe someone here may have one?

I do not know if this will work, but here a link to a couple of websites that might have the switch you need.

or
On this one scroll down about half way to find the switch.

Don't handle the switch with the wire still on. Too much leverage to break the phenolic loose. It looks repairable to me. Here is a switch you can put your knob on.
Always disconnect before removing and connect after install.

I suppose you put a test hot wire right on the motor terminal and it did not move?
