Default 401M W/Turbo

Anybody have any experience turbo charging a V6? Seems to me that with the low compression of these motors they would be a good candidate for a turbo. Dave

I have thought about it many a time and have even seen a draw through setup on a V6 on Craigslist.

My only hesitation from trying it is that I don't know when to leave well enough alone. With natural aspiration, how you build the engine is what you get. With a turbo, you can keep getting more power out of it by just adding a little more boost - until you get a little too much and it blows up.

If you could put it together and have enough control to not go hog wild, it could work.

Personally I wouldn't want to go much over 3 or 4 PSI of boost with the stock cast pistons.
