Default engine compartment

are there any photos on web showing how the GMC v6 engine compartment looked from the factory? I have the assembly manual but IIRC it shows Chevy only? I'd prefer a 1963....

Looks real good but what's missing is GMC painted the exhaust manifolds yellow. VHT makes a high heat yellow manifold paint.

I thought firewall would be either body color or medium fawn metallic? I didn't think firewall came in black as it appears in those pictures?

I'm also guilty of painting my firewall black. Originally, it was the same color of the exterior of my truck (green), but it was a dirty green so I painted it black when I painted the underside of the hood, inner fender wells, etc. I think it looks better being all one color, but that's just my opinion.
