To answer your brake question. Converting that to dual- No. Buying a bolt-on kit for $380 minus 10% on sale- Yes.

in order to use the pictured hydrovac with a dual line master cyl., you will need 2 of the hydrovac's---one for the front brakes, one for the back brakes. I have only seen this type of setup is on a 78 B600 school bus.

You guys are very convincing (and helpful). Considering my major priorities and intended vehicle usage, I'm going with a new power booster dual MC with new brake lines and keeping all 4 drums. I find there are booster units with 9" and 11" diaphragms; which might be better in terms of fitting correctly and providing ample stopping power?
