Default 1965 GMC brake lines

I had the following brake line kit arrive today from classic industries. They assured me that these were the correct lines for my gmc. However, when I pulled them out of the box, they don't even look close. Also, this set contains 8 lines and I believe my truck only had 7. Anyone more familiar with brake lines on these trucks know where the discrepancy may lie? Any help would be greatly appreciated. My truck is a driver and it's been parked for two weeks now.

I Forgot to mention my truck is stock. Manual drums. Unfortunately, I don't have the old lines for comparison. Anyone out there with pictures?

Could the extra line be for the clutch slave? Should be pretty long with a couple of steps as it has to go over the bell housing to hit the right side.

Thanks for the response. I don't think it is though. I wasn't expecting a perfect fit, but these aren't even close. They can't be the right lines. I guess I'll have to try my hand at bending my own. Thanks again.

Nate: If you take your time, where you have the old ones for a template and get a good tubing bender, I am sure you can do a professional job.

Nate, I have a 65 GMC 4WD and I am curious how this ends up getting resolved. The inline and classic industries only have the 2WD version. I did check the inline website and theirs is also an 8pc set. I have found both of these companies to be very good.

Exactly what year/model do you have? I, or someone on this board, could check the shop manual for a diagram.

On my 66 I got lines from Classic Industries and LMC and both were not even close, ended up making them. Dave
