Starter Motor for 1964 305 Manual Trans
I am having difficulty finding a rebuilt or replacement starter motor for my GMC 305 5L V6 manual transmission engine. Any suggestions?

I recently replaced the starter on a 60, 305A. The replacement was a rebuilt from Ultima, (Mexico) from OReilly Auto Parts. The part # 03-0372. I hope this helps ya, if not pm me and we will look at the casting numbers. Howard Last edited by abus319; March 23rd, 2015 at 05:57 AM.

Starter solenoid? Rock Auto has them. Need the starter itself? Have your old one rebuilt locally.
