Default Fake radio

I just happened to turn the knob on the radio to see if it even worked, felt funny. screwed off to expose the threaded section of a bolt. Seems the face of the radio is fake, just bolted on, nothing under the dash. Never have seen this type before.

I love that thing because it actually saved your dash from getting butchered all these years!

That's the most unusual "radio delete plate" I've ever seen! Pretty cool!

Very cool. It would be interesting to discover the origins/manufacturer of that particular delete. I find it very interesting and cool. I would bet that there are few of those around.

I was really surprised when I discovered what it was. I plan on putting a radio in the truck. May use the cover plate. First, gotta get it running.
What I am trying to figure out is what is stuffed in where the station selection buttons would go, sort of looks like a bit of colored rope.
