Default Replacement radiator 4 row?

Aren't most replacement radiators for our trucks 2 row radiators? I ran across this today.

Smile Re: Replacement radiator 4 row?

My 66 1/2 ton with an automatic has a 3 row and both my 66 and my 62 3/4 tons with sticks have 2 rows. Opposite of what I would thought, but I am sure there is a reason. Dave

Default Re: Replacement radiator 4 row?

Two-row cores were standard for manual transmissions, while 3 row cores usually standard for automatics and h/d for standards
4-row radiators were aftermarket and xtra heavy duty.
