Default Light/wiring issue 62 c10

I’m new to this club and am very thankful found it. I got a little problem with my lighting and hopefully someone can help me out. I was having problems with my parking lights and headlights. Went from bulbs, to re wiring to finally replacing the light switch itself. Now here is when I get confused. First click on the pull I get the tail, dash and parking lights on. Second click everything Is on except the parking lights go off. Not sure what to do to figure it out and the wirding diagrams appear to match.

Also, I got brake fluid leaking from the clutch rod inside the cab. It looks easy, any tricks on replacing the rubber boot?

Thanks for your time

Welcome Angrywood,

I'm guessing you used a factory style replacement switch(?)

This link says that's how they are supposed to work and also how to modify it to have the parklamps stay on.

This second link is for a rebuild kit for the master cylinder/clutch unit which should take of any leaking issues.
