What color are 1963 GMC dash knobs? When did Gray change to black? Thanks for any help.

I would say that's true, I can definitely remember from my childhood that my fathers 62 had black knobs!

I guess it must depend, but I don't know on what, because the original dash knobs on my 1964 1500 are grey.

Did you buy the truck new in 64? If you're not the original owner then it's possible at some point the knobs were changed.

I still have the owner's manual to our 62 and the page that shows the instrument cluster and all dash controls shows black knobs.
