Default AC compressor

Can I run my AC compressor off of my power steering pump? It’s the only way I could do it unless I had a 3 groove pulley on the water pump or crank which I can’t find. This is for my 61’ 305 V6.

That is what I did on my 66. Solid mounted the compressor and used the adjustment on the power steering. Seems to work well. Dave

Looks good Dave. I have one belt on just the compressor and the power steering pump. Do you remember how long your belt is?

Dave, your A/C mounts/brackets are clean looking. Good job on that design.

Belt length would depend on pulley sizes and location of the brackets and pump. Mine seems to work fine and I have several thousand miles on it. Good Luck, Dave
