Default New guy to the page

I got a 66 1500 with the 305E that I’ve owned for 7 years. Converted front end to 87 suburban for disc brake. Swamped out the 4.56 for a 2.73 gear. Running the Holley 500 with the pertronix. I running down the interstate at 75 MPH getting 14.4 MPG. I just purchased a 351M with the 3 grove and factory A/C bracket, also have a spare 305A. I’m lucky enough to own 2 pairs of plaid valve cover. I know a little about these motors but still have a lot to learn. .

Budrkup,

If you rebuild the 351M, I would like to know where you find the gaskets!

The 351M runs I cranked it on the pallet. I’ve had pretty decent luck with Rock Auto and Oreillys with the 305. But haven’t started looking for anything on the 351.

Welcome Budrkup and congrats on getting the 351!
That second photo shows the AC bracket/ alternator bracket that would be nice to have, if adding AC to your truck. Also looks like it has the lower double groove pulley with the add-on single groove pulley for the AC. Nice collection and truck as well.

Funky thank you, yes living Florida A/C would be a great thing to have. So I lucked out with the 351 having both of those.

That's an interesting location for your V6 emblem.

I mounted them there since I don’t run a hood.
