Default 4x4 production numbers

Is there a source for 4x4 vs 2wd production numbers for 60-66 GMC?
Thanks!

This topic has come up from time to time over the 22 year history of this site. To the best of my knowledge, the production figures for GMC trucks of that era were either lost in a fire, or buried somewhere among thousands of boxes in company archives. However, production figures for Chevy trucks are available. If you assume Chevy outsold GMC trucks from '60 to '66 by a factor of 4 or 5, you can take the figures available in books for Chevy, and divide by 4 or 5 and get pretty close to the GMC numbers.

I found a partial listing online here -- https://talk.classicparts.com/thread...numbers.15526/

Thanks for the info. I figured it was ground already plowed but I couldn't readily find a pertinent thread.
