Intro - 65 GMC 1000
 

Hi all,

Found this forum when dealing with the 65 GMC rear drum problem. I have a 65 GMC 1000 that I'm fixing up. The truck is fleetside, short wheel base, with a 230. I'm planning on just fixing her up to be a functional truck, keeping things original when possible.

Looks like this is primarily a place for V6 enthusiasts so I hope you don't mind an inliner lurking about.

Hey you found us! I am TJ's Chevy on the other forum. Welcome aboard! Don't matter if it's a 6 banger or V6 long as it says GMC and not chevy sbc. lol :ok:

Fine looking GMC! There is an inliner GMC page in this forum so there is a place to exchange ideas and info about these tough little engines. I'm a die hard GMC guy, but don't own a V-6 one right now either. Two of my GMC's have the dreaded SBC and one also has a 230 I-6.

Thanks guys. I'm looking for some 60-66 GMC-specific info so I think this is probably the right place. Time to get searching...
