Considering adding the fuel cell under the bed on my 64 C1000 and would like to run it as an auxiliary to increase the range. 17 gallons behind the seat don't go far..
Anybody out there attempt to do this?? Just trying to gage the difficulties. Thanks in advance! |

On my 79 Chevy PU I added a second tank to the left side and that gave me 40 gallons total, which is the same thing that the factory did. I had to add a selector valve, switch (that I place in the factory location), and metal lines with rubber hose to interconnect everything. It is great having all of that fuel on a road trip. |
