1960/1961 3/4 ton suspension
Hello to all
Were there differences in 1960 /1961 suspensions on a 2wd vs a 4x4 in 3/4 ton or were they the same? I looked on the site but did not see where there was any mention of 2wd vs 4x4 set ups. Thank you for your reply. Fritz

Big Difference,
From our model description page: "GMC 1500 will be long bed only, but may not have a pickup box, will have 8 lugs on the wheels, 1960-1962 will have torsion bar front suspension, and coil rear. 1963-1966 will be coil front suspension with leaf in the rear. Can be 4 wheel drive model also." (my edit: 4x4 is leaf all around, closed knuckle, hubs and I believe 4X4 ladder bar vs. 2WD X frame chassis) Last edited by AZKen; January 23rd, 2017 at 07:45 AM.
