Howdy!
Hi all. Happy to be here. I'm the new, proud owner of a 64 GMC longbed fleetside with a 250 and a 4 speed. I think the motor is from a '70.
I grew up in my dad's tan '64 Chevy with a 283 and a 2 speed powerglide; my wife's dad had a tan 65 GMC. He's recently passed and didn't get to see the truck; the ladies don't remember the motor or trans but have told me it had a horse hood ornament with a doll's saddle. (He had daughters!) I've figured out a few of the first issues, installed a passenger seatbelt so I can take my boys out toolin' around. I'll post other stuff elsewhere, but thanks for making a great forum.
