Hi all I have just gotten a 1966 GMC 910 1/2 ton stepside pick up. It’s the Canadian built model with the Chev 283 V8 in it. I am wondering what is the correct radiator cap pressure. Is it 7 or 13 lbs. it has the stock radiator in it. Thanks.

Greetings IslandGMCguy!
It most likely is the 13# pressure cap. the 7# caps are for older vehicles, and have pretty much gone the way of the Dinosaurs. Other members, please correct me if I'm wrong on this one. |

I agree with 13lb. Temp gauge is to be monitored.
