Default Roof removal

So i've got a hairbrained idea to remove my roof to get to some dents and then rust that built up at the front windscreen headliner. Any ideas how to remove it and then, how to put it together again? need a humptey-dumptey expert...

Have you checked out YouTuber “Fitzee’s Fabrications”? You will need to remove the glass to find all of the rust. With things like stud guns available today, I would suggest not removing the roof skin, as you may not get it back on perfectly. Otherwise, the drip rail is the pinch seam for the roof skin. Remove the sealer and find all of the spot welds.

Pull the dents and use filler as said. The upper windshield piece is available as a patch panel. $80. Use a little of it to repair. Windshield removed.

I checked the youTube vid mentioned, a lot of work but has to be done, i have rust holes peeking through the headliner/cab roof. The sound deadening material looked interesting and good advice on setting it in place. Prob is i have to get my welding skills up to par... Thanks for the great resource!
