Default 61 Suburban 3 point seat belt

I have lap belts installed but would like to upgrade to 3 point. The issue is how to get the B pillar reinforcement installed. There’s a video available on the 67 plus pickups where the access seems pretty straightforward. So far some minor disassembled of my Suburban has not shown me a straight forward way into that boxed in area. Any one been able to do this with a minimum of disruption?

Not that I know of, but I'm happy with lap belts. If you're not driving like Mario Andretti they're perfect.

But some folks have pulled out the seats and just installed the Chevy seats with built in seatbelts from a modern tahoe or chevy truck. If you really want them, that's a good way to go.

Some people are like slinkys. Not worth much but funny as heck when pushed down stairs.

Found a couple of links and one for the suburban that may be helpful.
